6th Grade curriculum-Earth and Space Science revolves around various fascinating topics in science. -We will study the planet through mapping and structure, as well as geological changes on and in the Earth. In addition, fascinating topics like weather, climate, water, the atmosphere and natural resources will be studied. The course will also contain in-depth topics about our space program, the solar system and the universe. Class projects will also complement student work.
7th Grade curriculum-Ecology and the Environment (Life Science) revolves around the study of life on our planet and the interactions that occur with abiotic factors that surround us. Students will study the interactions of biotic and abiotic factors, and how they make our planet viable for life. We will also stress scientific problem solving revolving around numerous topics such as unicellular life, multicellular life, genetics and DNA. Class projects will also be assigned.
8th Grade curriculum-Physical Science is centered on the study of matter and energy. Our technology based syllabus will range from the study of motion and forces to the interactions of physical and chemical reactions. Scientific problem solving will be stressed in readings and projects that the students will be asked to complete.
